You must be at least 18 years old to use Covo. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not impersonate another person or use a misleading username.
You agree not to: harass, bully, or intimidate other users; post false, misleading, or deceptive content; create events with the intent to defraud attendees; use the app for illegal activities; spam or send unsolicited messages; attempt to access other users' accounts; circumvent security measures or restrictions.
Event hosts are responsible for the accuracy of event details including location, time, and description. Covo does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legitimacy of events. Attend events at your own discretion.
Some events require an entry fee. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. A 15% platform fee is applied to paid event entry fees and retained by Covo; the remaining 85% goes to the event host. Free events incur no fees. Entry fees are capped by account verification level (£20 standard, £50 university-verified, £300 business-verified). Hosts receiving payments must complete Stripe payout onboarding. Refunds are handled through Covo: leaving a paid event more than 24 hours before it starts triggers an automatic refund, and Covo may also refund attendees where an event is cancelled or these terms are violated.
You retain ownership of content you post on Covo. By posting content, you grant Covo a non-exclusive license to display that content within the app. We may remove content that violates these terms.
Community creators and moderators are responsible for maintaining community standards. Covo reserves the right to remove communities that violate these terms.
You can block users and report violations. We review reports and may take action including warning, suspending, or banning users who violate these terms.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time.
Covo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the conduct of users, the quality of events, or any damages arising from your use of the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Covo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
